Holy moly look at those score deviations!
Pours an amber and dark red like color. Real good head on these, in the picture, both glasses have this dense off white head sitting around 3/5". The aroma pushed similar to the language on the bottle, you got both raspberries and hibiscus going in the nose alongside the usual de garde Tillamook pasture vibe.
Taste, well hey, we have scores in the 2's and 4's, this looks to be in the 3's, properly dividing up the scores here. Its got a wet (not dry) raspberry punch to it different than a lot of raspberry wild ales. The hibiscus fits and works with this slightly maltier wild ale. There isn't a lot of taste from the increased malt bill, but there is a fuller mouth feel and better pairing with the hibiscus. Takes some getting used to a mouth feel with raspberries, but not a dry finish. Not just wet raspberries, but a wet wood feel too.
Laughs about this being a limited release. . . now. My ass walked in off the street and bought multiple bottles.

Received in a trade and shared with JLindros.
A - Poured into a Kate the Great tulip a nice ruby hue with a thin off white head.
S - Aromas of trash, vinegar, diacetyl, buttery oak, faint raspberries.
T - Taste is similar to the nose, the diacetyl is fainter but still discernable. The vinegar is really dominant as well. There is some nice raspberry notes but everything else overpowers that.
M - Mouthfeel is lightly carbonated, crisp
O - Overall this was a very disappointing and confusing beer. I've never really had an issue with de garde and suddenly the two bees I've had from their last bottle release were diacetyl bombs. Incredibly unfortunate.

Nice fizzy bubbly rosy pink head fades quickly, little lacing, dark murky ruby pinkish purple color
Nose big raspberry but also rubbish like butric acid, but that's gone quickly, loads of vinegar and acetone like, plenty of raspberry jam, little diacetyl too
Taste is very tart sour acidic, a little acetone and vinegar, lots of tart funk, raspberry jam, raspberry wine vinegar, flemmy acidity, little seed tannin, bitter spice thing. Maybe butric acid.
Mouth is med to heavier bod, flemmy sour acidic slimy
Overall not as bad as the boisonberry but still ug, what the hell happened to this and to de garde?
