On tap at the brewery.
I'm personally not a big fan of the style, unless the brewer's bringing something new and innovative to the table, but this was just a pretty basic brown ale. Medium brown pour, slightly hazy, topped with a small but solid off-white head that receded to a ringlet; dots of lacing on the glass. Bready malts aroma, some distant herbal and earthy hops. More of the same in the taste, caramel malts, bready, light herbal hop profile, with a small dose of earthiness. Really nothing bad to say about this one, it was solid for the style, even if it wasn't really my bag. Medium body, easily drinkable. If you like brown ales, give it a try.
