Ate dinner in the jazz cafe part of this restaurant. small stage area with musicians off the side of a small room with dining tables, and a bar. a small draft list, but all quality craft beer. the food menu was farm-to-table, with a focus on smoked/cured meats. service was good. (284 characters)

I do love the atmosphere of this place. It's located in a registered historical building in Maumee, and everything from the decor to the high-class but casual look to the stained glass diving the rooms gives it quite the look.
The food is phenomenal; almost perfect, and only a touch short. Almost everything is seasoned perfectly, the cuts of meat are top quality, especially for the price, everything's fresh, etc. Generally speaking, you won't be disappointed by the food.
I'm scoring "quality" in reference to the beer alone. There are somewhere around 10-12 taps and a few bottles, and about half the taps are craft. There's some other good stuff, like some nice ciders, and they have very good wine as well. All in all, the quality of BMC to faux BMC to good craft comes out to average.
The selection, as stated, is limited, but there's likely something you'll drink, even if you're not specifically looking for it. I do think, though, that a high-class place should offer more genuinely good options. I do understand that they make more off of rich guys buying 5 Mich ultras, but a few more good ones couldn't hurt.
Our service was consistent, and everyone from the greeter to the person who sat us to our waitress was friendly. As far as beer goes, thogh, they seem poorly-trained. Out server made an effort, but she didn't know what an IPA is at all and she called Ommegang Witte "Omega White."
All in all, you'll have a good experience here. Besides, if you can't find a beer you want, they have some good wine and top shelf liquor. (1,544 characters)
