12 ounce bottle w/o freshnsss dating.

Pours cloudy darker amber, lite tan slight head, that quickly fades to a fine film and leaves moderate thicker strands of lace.

Nondescript nose of just some light malts and a whiff of hops.

Middle of the road APA, hops somwhat held in check by the above average level of malting done by the KUKA brewers.

Nothing special, nothing terrible. Curious to try more selections from this new and local to me brewer

Pours crystal clear pale gold, small white foam cap, lasting lacing. Nice presentation.

Home brew aroma, acetaldehyde, green apple, what is it? Light contemporary hops (cascade, centennial, etc) Not comparable to contemporary "session IPA"/ APA field, could be more aromatic.

Medium light body, nice maltiness, sugar, almost pound cake like rather than cracker or biscuit. Maca not as prevalent as I remembered. Almost sweet potato like, but not nearly prominent enough to put off. Hop presence super low, finishes clean. Not bad, not world class

A - Dark Copper with lacing that quickly recedes

S - Malty, bready, Not my type of APA smell. I prefer slighlty hoppy and crisp.

T - Very sweet, some weird taste which might be the "with maca root" they are referring to. Bitter after taste but not from hops

M - Thick and not syrupy despite being on the sweeter side for a Pale. This was its best attribute.

O - Not something I would buy again. Too malty for me and the maca root might not be my thing. They should really include a best by date because I would hate to be this hard on the beer if the beer is past its best by date.

Poured to a bubbly head, white, which faded fast and had mild lacing. Had a gold to amber look with some haze. Aroma was mild with hints of hop and malt. Tasted malty with caramel / toffee notes and a hoppy grain finish. Medium mouthfeel with a dry sharp aftertaste.
