Snow is white, foxes are dangerous, The Fiddler is English, Albino Fox is a danger to society. Drinking a pale ale is as traditional as having a fox on Hampstead Heath. This one stands out from the rest, like an Albino Fox. Smooth taste, light colour and body. A fabulous alcohol content, which gives you the opportunity to enjoy more as time passes by.

On cask at The Fiddler. On to the beer:

This pale ale is paler orange in color and topped with a small head which doesn't leave much around the glass. A noticable smack of yeast hits the nose first, and quickly the notes of esters and diacetyl arrive in a pleasant manner. The flavor is controlled, first bringing a sting of butterscotch. The canvas is set for the rest of the notes to take place. A kiss of fruity esters along with leafy hops and tea add small but game changing complexities to the beer. The tastes ends up being very likable. As expected, the beer is light bodied and very low with the carbonation.

Albino Fox is slightly more flavorful than Lion's Den, which has me leaning slightly towards the former. Both are good beers choices at The Fiddler, though that leaves me with four more house ales to drink!
