Belgian-inspired Pale with tropical fruit, clove, and resiney aroma. Heady carb and medium body with sweet malt and Belgian candy sugar middle. Finishes dry with an aggressive, yet balanced, hop bitterness.

Too many spices not as balanced as they claim yet still a lovely beer.

This was the final offering of my flight at a recent trip to Penrose. This beer is clear and features a coppery/light amber hue with a thin white head thad dissipates fairly quickly to a thin lacing. Light carbonation is visible in the form of small bubbles rising slowly toward the surface. 3.75/5 The aroma is somewhat subdued with this beer but there are definitive hop notes of pine resin and grapefruit. White bread and citrus peel also show up but act mainly as undertones to the pine resin and grapefruit. 3.5/5 Light caramel sweetness hits my tongue right off the bat before a buttery white bread comes in, showcasing the lightly toasted malt. At this point the hops really start to come out with grapefruit and citrus peel showing up first and a light pine resin coming in to relieve the initial hop flavors. There is a bit of a peppery undertone throughout the hop profile, after the buttered white bread disappears from the palate. Bitterness is fairly significant and lingers for quite some time. 3.75/5 Light and crisp with light drying (surprising given the hop bill). Light carbonation tickle up front persists throughout the sip and there is a bit of lingering dryness as well. 4/5 Well balanced pale ale that does have a bit of a Belgian influence, but the flavors scream lighter APA to me. Still an enjoyable beer drinking experience regardless. 3.75/5

L: nice Amber hue, light haze, subtle lacing
S: Piney floral notes, nicely subtle, subtle hay, lemon, mild sour/funk, sunshiney Dewey pleasantness.
T: Holy crap this beer is excellent! Big hop presence at the front, light lemon/citrus meld, light burn from the CO2, lifting the subtle decadent hops inward to a mild soft bitterness that is most pleasing. Very well balanced, although I am not sure there is much malt backbone here the hops Just shine right through. I have had many, many beers of this style and I would say that this is my favorite of all time. A truly wonderful presentation Of this style. I wish I lived closer to this place.
F: very smooth, bit of a resiny afterglow. Like Taylor Swift in a glass. Hot!
O: My favorite bpa. I cannot believe the lower reviews because this beer blew my socks off and I cannot believe that it does not do the same to everyone who tastes it. A truly epic beer, folks . Do not let this one get by you without taking notice of the subtle genius behind this beer. Love in a glass that gets you drunk. Yes!
