Draft at Rogers Park Social.
Hazy pale gold, pulpy like juice, thin layer of white foam, spotty lace around the edges.
Lightly acidic and lemony aroma, soft and mellow.
Taste is crisp and pleasantly tart. Lemon pith, some juice. Lemonade without the sugar.
Soft supple feel, wheaty and smooth. Overall very easy drinking, sessionable indeed.
This will be great in the summer...

Very Smooth, light tasting beer with a tart finish. No harsh after taste. Overall thought it was great.

64oz growler poured into a Penrose snifter glass. Generously shared by Sweenzander. Enjoyed on 2.21.16, reviewed from Tasting Journal.
The beer pours a pale gold color, very hazy, a little dull with a thick finger of white head, good retention and nice swatches of lace. The aroma is nice, light funk, grassy hops, bready malts and a touch of citrus peel. A light aroma, soft and simple with some nice hop punch. The flavors are in line, juicy but soft hops, light bitterness, grassy and citrus forward with a bit of wildflower with strong cereal grains, a bit bready with a light funky pucker and some easy tartness. The mouthfeel is crisp, gentle, coating, lively with a medium body and an easy finish.
Verdict: A nice session sour beer from Penrose. Light, gentle, tart, fun hoppy character that brings out a nice juicy quality and finishes with light tartness. A nice refreshing beer to enjoy on a weekend afternoon.
