Poured from a 750mL bottle into a Lost Nation pint glass.
Pours a translucent straw-gold with a loose two-finger head that quickly recedes to a ring of suds around the edge of the glass. Visible carbonation rising from the bottom of the glass throughout, minimal spots of lacing.
In the nose, sweet bready malt mingles with lemon zest, brine, and a touch of spiciness.
In the mouth, opens with a sweet lemon note that quickly transitions into tart lemon zest and orange peel. Tangy wheat with a very subtle bready sweetness on the mid-palate, spicy coriander and brine on the finish.
Mouthfeel is medium-light, with the soft carbonation keeping the beer feeling refreshing while the salt contributes to a subtle stickiness towards the back.
On the whole, an exceptionally well-crafted gose. Refreshing and smooth, incredibly easy-drinking. Would pair amazingly with seafood, wish this was bottled in MA so I could take some down to the Cape for the summer.

Appearance: 3/4 inch head, high carbonation, gold yellow in color, clear
Smell: salt and wheat
Taste: big wheat, peach, orange, and salt
Mouthfeel: light body, sweet with prickly saltiness, medium-high carbonation
Overall: A nice and peachy example of the style. Never had a gose like this. Tastes like a Leinenkugel's Sunset Wheat with a gose's saltiness. Would definitely get this again.

On tap at the brewery.
A: Straw colored with a slight haze. Head is thin but it sticks around.
S: Toasty malt and coriander, with a very faint funky edge.
T: Salt is right up front, blends well with the coriander and malts. I'd like a little more sourness but it tastes great.
M: Full and satisfying for a low ABV beer (the salt?). No astringency or other defects.
O: Gose seems to be the flavor of the month in VT right now; a very good example.

Served in a pint glass at the brewery.
Appearance - Hazy golden. Arrives with a small white head that settles to a collar.
Smell - A little briny. Bright citrus. Little bit of grain.
Taste - Grainy. Slight tang. Lemon and orange. Salty and briny in the finish.
Mouthfeel - Medium light. Refreshing until it warms. Then the saltiness overwhelms any refreshment.
Overall - It's a pretty good beer. Every time I have a Gose I wonder why someone thought salt in beer was a good idea.
