Can. Bright copper orange mostly clear with ring and island. Complex aroma white wine grape floral peppery honey and mint and bubble gum. Sweet honey and apricot and peach with medium herbal bitterness. Medium body slick and lifeless for style some cloying sweetness in the after taste. Surprisingly mediocre considering that Petit Ardennes is world class.

The appearance was a glossy orange color with a bar pour’s kind of slim white head. There’s barely any lacing. The smell starts off with a rustic to funky sweet citrus running over top of a light bubblegum aroma. The taste was mainly sweet through the bubblegum and citrus. Lingering sweet bubblegum aftertaste leads to a wet finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. Carbonation runs smooth and leaves a sticky sweet smoothness over my tongue. Overall, for a saison, it’s super sweet. I didn’t mind it for me, though.
