Pours dark amber with a fading off-white head.
Nose shows pine, lychee, passion-fruit, sweet rich malt and some confectionery..
Very similar flavours, pine, fruity hops, sweet bready malt. Very easy drinking and moreish.
Nice moderate carbonation.

Pours a dirty orange copper hue with a half finger wispy head and nice clingy lacing, the smell is fruit salad, paw paw, pineapple and mangoes it's definately a hop fest, the mouthfeel is medium bodied with moderate carbonation and on the taste I get a lot of the amber malts aswell as the fruit salad hops and it's a great mix which works quite well and the finish is a mix of toasty malts and a fruit salad bitterness and overall it's quite a sessionable drop but nothing that will make me want to come back again soon.

500mL bottle with cool psychedelic label as expected for this series.

Appearance is a pretty classic amber with a little bit of gold. Good head and nice, persistent lacing.

Nose is fruity with classic AmBer malts and hops. Leatherwood honey, spicy herbal hops.

Taste continues the aromatics of the nose. Hops are present but body feels a little watery for me, which I also found in other beers in this series. I think the rye malt in Supa Fly added a bit more texture which was welcome and maybe partly why I feel that beer was superior.

Mouthfeel is kind of bitter (bit more noticeable as I get through the bottle) and maintains consistent flavours with the nose, there are no palate gaps to be had with this beer.

Overall this is a high quality offering in what is something of a ubiquitous style now in Australia (and elsewhere). It's enjoyable and well made but I do feel a bit "you've had one you've had them all" in regards to these hoppy ambers which many brewers have cottoned onto.

Also, considering how fresh I had this would it be wrong to say I was hoping for even more hop presence? It's just that the hops in Supa Fly felt like they were leaping out of the bottle. This feels like a little bit of a step down after that.
