Poured from 12oz bottle into a tulip.
Appearance: silvery-golden hue with a touch of haze and a moderately strong effervescence. Head is a finger of creamy white foam leaving a short lace on the glass. I rather like it.
Smell: a tiny bit of funk, a tiny bit of sour, a tiny bit of refreshing wheat and a little whiff of grassy springtime. Light in intensity but pleasingly complex.
Taste: grainy malt with a hint of spicing and a nice wheatiness. The funk and sour are a little bit pared back with respect to the aroma, which creates a nice dynamic experience. This is a mild but altogether pleasing beer.
Mouthfeel: medium-light body with a well-integrated carbonation yielding a very nice creaminess. Kudos.
Overall: this is just an all-round enjoyable brew. It's a gose that doesn't overdo it and strikes a very good balance. Love to have it again!

On tap at Jakes in Chicago. Served in a pint glass without a head. Clear very light pale yellow in color. Not much going on in the aroma department. Hints of wheat-grainy cereal. Hints of lactic acid...but very weak. Taste is just like the aroma with a weak salt finish. Light bodied, with a zingy quality. Very low level of lactic acid.
A very simple easy to drink brew. Not a lot of character but refreshing on a hot day.

Bright orange color, medium white head. Aroma is sweet, peppery, spicy, flowery, and generally pleasant. Very likable thus far.... Taste is crisply dry, floral and spice, nice white bread malty, and well balanced. Just a touch of salt makes things interesting. No overwhelming flavors and nicely light. Perfect for Spring and very easy to drink.
