L: Hazy fold to gold amber pour that rouses a persistent 2” white foam column. Foam takes 4 minutes to reduce to ¼ of its original size and is very clingy and lacy.
S: Tropical fruit, some spice, light herbal to vegetable hop aromas with a touch of mint. Medium to medium hop aromas, medium low malt.
T: A medium malt backbone supports medium tropical fruit with medium to medium high bitterness. Balance leans slightly to the hop but well complemented by the malt.
F: Very creamy, medium body and medium carbonation. The carbonation is soft and not prickly.
O: A well balanced and flavor packed IPA.

Pours a murky burnt orange color with a fluffy two finger sized off white head that falls slow and laces well. Very good looking beer.
Aroma is nice good to see an IPA with sweet character of the malt blending so well with floral hops, makes it sweet goodness. Also some dusting of pine needles and light fruity citrus hints.
Taste is wow different from the nose more hop froward , malt sweetness is there but covered by hop flavors and a good dose of bitterness. Fruity and floral to start but grapefruit rind bitterness takes over and finishes with some pine.Figured from label and reviews it would be more malt forward but it still has a descent hop kick.
Mouthfeel is medium with fairly smooth carbonation.
Overall an enjoyable and reasonably priced brew. Have to make trip to the brewery one day soon.

Was looking forward to this, but was really struck by a chord of caramel flavor that overwhelmed everything else.

I had this at the View house at Beech Mt. after a hard day of skiing so my review might be a little skewed positive, but I loved it.

Finally made it to Blind Squirrel when they were open. It was a glorious fall day in the NC high country and that may sway this review. The IPA is a bit different than other offerings but it was perfect for the day. The beer is light golden in color and quite hazy. It poured with a nice 1/2 white head. The nose was very refreshing with good balance of floral and citrus. The taste was sweet and not overly hop bitter. It finished clean and was very refreshing. After enjoying the beer, we got to tour their new production facility. Very impressive and Cleve was quite entertaining. Make the effort to find this brewery and enjoy its offbeat selection of very good beers!

A good buddy of mine brought this to Chicago for my 40th birthday....and I am very impressed. The IPA pour a nice copper color with 1/2finger thick head that laced nicely. The scent carried great pine, citrus and floral notes. The taste was much the same. The balance of the beer is what impressed me the most. There was enough malt to balance the hops. The mouthfeel was medium in body with good carbonation. Overall this was a great IPA and definitely sessionable.
