I categorized this as they did, a Winter Warmer, all though in truth it beers no more resemblence to that then it does it thier description as a merger between a wee heavy and a NW winter warmer. It's really just a delicous IPA.
Gold, white skim.
Herbal, citrus hop nose.
Taste is pretty heavy on the fruity esters, with plenty of hops to back it up. The malt is tasty, the quality shows, but certainly not what I would describe as malty - although that suits my taste in IPAs anyways so it works out for me!
Mouthfeel is medium light bodied, slippery, a nice silkiness.
Drinkability is pretty high, very nice beer. But I can't see how this is what they intended...
Serving type: on-tap
