I went here with a friend and did a flight. The offerings were ok but this place is relatively new. Very nice location and place had a positive vibe. Might check back again in the future but competition is pretty fierce in the greater Denver area....

Cool local brewery. Had the rye stout, loved it. Nice porch/patio area. Inside is a little cold and sterile, but the staff is friendly and nice. Good place.

Family friendly and that includes your dog. Very laid back atmosphere. Food truck and hangout area is pretty cool. Texas needs some establishments like this.
Beer selection was pretty good and the IPA (don't remember the name) was delicious!

Good beers, food truck was prime and outdoor fireplace on a chilly evening was fantastic

This is so far my all time favorite Gay Friendly Brewery in Denver/golden. The couples who run this place are very open and invite the community with open arms. They are originally from Texas and California, two of the best places to learn how to brew beer.

This place has really solid beers, a helpful/friendly staff, and the vibe is awesome in Golden at their tasting room. Their outdoor seating area is great, with views of the surrounding foothills, and there was a great food truck parked right in their sideyard the evening we were their. The Infra-Red IPA was delicious - plenty of hops and piney aroma, but balanced very nicely.

Visited Mountain Toad twice on a recent visit to Golden, CO. Nice crowd, friendly patrons and staff. Dog friendly too. There was a different food truck each day I visited. The bathrooms were clean. Local artists had pieces on the walls. I didn't eat, but both of the beers I had were good. A small batch mango IPA and the regular IPA. Inviting seating inside and out, but it was a bit cramped at times.

I spoke with Brian, one of the four owners. He was very friendly and engaging. He offered some history and informed me that they had been open for a little bit over one year. He explained that they see themselves as a true public house - where all are welcome. It did seem that many people knew each other - giving the place a real community feel. Reading some of the older reviews makes me think they have fixed some of the early complaints. I had a great time - no complaints!

great spot been open about a year right in downtown golden. groovy artsy newish taproom with a lot of outdoor seating. great vibe outside there, everyone just relaxing on a weekday afternoon. maybe 6 or 7 beers on tap, all of which were quite good. lemongrass saison and red ipa were the most impressive, but they also do a nice cream ale as well. prices were super fair as well, although we may have hit happy hour. service was cool, i mean, one of the guys seemed a little uppity, a little like he didnt care to take the time explaining beers, had an answer for everything, but we got our beers promptly, had glasses cleared away swiftly, and were treated very well there. a fun place to hang out, some very cool stuff happening with their beer, and a place i will absolutely visit again. 10 barrel system looks brand new, nice!

One of the four craft breweries in Golden, I've been trying to hit them all lately. This one is downtown right across the river on 9th. Good atmosphere, decent selection of house beers. I got a six glass (five ounce each) sampler for $9 which was not a bad value, I think pints were $4.50. Service was a little off as the bartender got irritated with me for asking questions, sorry its my first time and your chalkboard isn't really legible nor is it in a good location. Beers were pretty average for the most part but the IPA was decent. They had a really good food truck outside called Quiero Arepas which was more impressive than the brewery. Maybe I'll go back in a couple months and see if the beers have gotten any better.

I hit up this brewery last on my trip of visiting Golden's 4 micro breweries. I had high hopes for this brewery. They look nice and have obviously put a lot of money into their image. (graphics, advertising, online presence) Lets start with major things. First, there was a fight outside when I was trying to leave; It was very off putting. The patrons were unhappy and really struck me as a bunch of alcoholics; I did not feel safe. second, the beer was basically poison! I got sick when drinking the two beers I tried; the red and the ipa. The next day I had a horrible headache from, as best as I can figure, poorly brewed beer. I have never had a problem like this before. The staff was friendly enough, though too busy for adequate service, I feel bad leaving such a bad review because the woman at the bar was very nice, professional, and friendly.

I hate to say it, but, my visit here has put me off of microbreweries for a while. I had a very bad experience which ruined my night, and I find it hard to believe how many people I saw there, (it seemed popular) maybe I just am an outlier who saw the place at its worst. It will be a long while before I go back to Golden for a brewery crawl.

I am an easy to satisfy customer and I rarely have bad experiences. The bar tender was drunk and rude; the beer was flat, uninspired, and I have some health concerns about it.(It gives me headaches)

I gave them a second chance, and a different beer gave me the same horrible migraine. This could be a cleaning agent in the beer or fermented at too high of a temperature, if I had to take a couple guesses.

In conclusion, I could drink a good beer on a freeway ramp and enjoy it. I couldn't enjoy their beer at their brewery. Maybe it is a fantastic place to drink a beer but I could not see it through the poor quality, poor service, or through the headaches the beer gives me.

Also, to my dismay, they don't even take credit cards! Even Golden City Brewery is taking them now days!

The new place in Golden, close to the downtown strip. Of course you can walk just about anywhere in that town.

Looks like a small place but is sorta roomy. Half the high tables didn't have chairs. Must be on order. L-shaped bar has a nice look to it, yet simple. Expose brewing equipment is nice, but does invade aroma-gathering on each beer. Not a big deal at all, really

Outside patio on the side is roomy. No food truck there, but a spot exists for one. Probably would make it seem more crowded if a truck was there. Not liking the rocks they use. Prost has the same; bulky rocks. I like the smaller pebbles--reminds me of Italy..and you don't lose your footing as easily.

Anywho, nice little place. Only 3 beers on tap, but they'll add more

Newer brewery in Golden - they got our business as a reward for being open past 6:30 on a Saturday (golden city)

Cool little taproom and a huge beergarden complete with a jamming food truck. The place was jumping on a nice saturday evening and it seemed like everyone had probably spent the day on a river or a trail.

The IPA was cold, hoppy and refreshing. 2 pitchers disapeared very quickly
