Don't let the name deceive you, this is a red rye IPA and our flagship beer coming out of Black Mountain, NC. This IPA is more malty than most and has a distinct spicy rye flavor in the body. It’s red color might deceive you at first, until the Cascade and Citra hops come to the forefront. Two-part dry hop Citra additions bring out those bright citrus aromas to your nose before you lips get close to the glass.

Pours a reddish brown color with full head. Scent is of citrus and some hop pine. The taste has the scent notes present with the addition of a spice bite. Medium mouthfeel and a clean, spicy aftertaste

On tap at the Pour Taphouse in Asheville.
Pours a very deep red-brown with a durable light tan head that leaves some lacing
Aroma: Fruit juice; over-ripe soft fruits; melon
Flavor: more appealing. Mainly fruity hops. Mild bitterness for style.
Feel: the body is too thin but has good, soft, medium-high carbonation.
