Hard to fairly grade as place is small as it is and then with limited indoor capacity to COVID the place is only allowed about 25 people. This meant a real chill vibe, although that's not a bad thing, and the service was rather prompt since it was rather hard for a line to form. The beers there seem to vary in style and the beers I tried were pretty good so this place is worth checking out.

one of the top taprooms and breweries in asheville as far as i am concerned, this place is awesome, and making some absolutely killer beers right now. i am so glad we made it in. they seem to have a couple informal series for beers, including some cool wild stuff in some of the sexiest packaging i have seen, and some more basic hoppy stuff, and just about everything i had from these guys, both here and around town while i was there, was awesome. their space is nice, hillside there with a mellow working brewery vibe in the evening, packed with thirsty guests but still comfortable and mellow. a couple of the ipa types blew me away, a brut ipa was tremendous, as was a mosaic focused one called hi pitch. i liked their brett saison a little less, but found just about everything else to be great. incredible service, the gal was so kind, talkative, and welcoming, and the knowledge of the brand and beers was there for sure. relaxed space and high end beers, everything about it was worth the trip in, and i now understand why everyone in asheville thinks they rule, because they do! dont go here and not stop in...

This place was okay. The servers could have been a bit friendlier or less busy. The place had some solid beers and some not so solid. We ordered 6 different pints and 3 were great and the other 3 were not so great. Overall vibe was nice the servers just seemed real busy.

Happened upon this brewery completely on accident after leaving the Wicked Weed Funkatorium. Just so happened it was also $2 Tuesdays with $2 pints! I absolutely loved the vibe of the place and the beer was excellent (not to mention $2!). I really loved the open wall facing the street with a bar to sit and people watch. Great place!

This is the smaller tasting room of the two Hi-Wire places in town. A bar with about 8 stools is located in the middle of what looks like an old garage that was turned into a brewery. A few tables adorn the place. Concrete floors and a general feeling of dinginess is around but you know it is clean enough for brewing. There were about 15 beers on draft. The several pints I had on two separate visits were good. Service was a bit slow, despite the smaller crowds.

This review is for the Biltmore Village location.
Broad open warehouse style space, with a long bar, open high tables, and then rows of picnic tables before the roped off brewing area. There's an outdoor space I didn't check out.
The vibe was subdued while I was there - but it was cozy, comfortable, and the bartenders were friendly an helpful. 15 beers on tap, and $8 gets you nice sized pours of four of them. I was impressed by the consistent quality of the brews - all solid, no clunkers, and lots of interesting options (the habanero porter comes to mind). And feel free to bring in some food from the pizza place next door.
On the outskirts of Asheville but highly recommend a visit when in town.
