On draft at Smith Mountain Lake Wine Festival (hey - only two breweries present but definitely preferable to the 0.5 oz wine pours that required you to listen politely while vintage, provenance, weather, and soils were expounded upon ad nauseum). Pours a hazy amber color with a thin off-white head. Initial impression is light malts, and lots of carbonation. Light mouthfeel; crisp, dry finish. Not something I'd seek out again, but it beat the crap out of the wines.

Gold color and nearly clear. Moderate head with streaky lace.
Muddy and earthy aroma. Mostly dry malt nose.
Very earthy flavor. Chewy body with a light hop touch. Short aftertaste. Grassy and weedy are the flavors I catch predominately.

This has started showing up in local Lowes Foods stores over the past few months, it's a new brewery for me. Pours a dark golden turning to amber with a short lived head. Nose is strong with bready sweet malts, with a big caramel note the most prominant player. Definitely more action here than the typical grainy, adjuncty lager.
Well balanced but not overpowering flavor, based in light, sweet malts but containing stiff carbonation early and a fairly crisp finish, both of which temper the biscuit and bread sugariness. Definite yeast notesurrounds the taste from sip to aftertaste as well. This is well made and designed to be sessionable. Worth a shot if you can find it, even if the can design makes it look like a macrolager generica.

Nice amber color but minimal white head. Smell fairly typical malty lager smell, not especially strong. taste follows suit: malty, lager, refreshing and quaffable, but not particularly big or bold. Mouthfeel unremarkable. Overall easy to drink and pleasant but not outstanding. Can poured into a clear glass.

Yet another disappointing beer from these guys. This honestly tastes like potato chips. That may sound great to some people, but I am unable to enjoy this beer, and I'd guess that the potato chip flavor may point to a decent amount of diacetyl.

I must say, I am not a lager fan. But.... Man, I truly love this beer. Malty, rich, yet refreshing. I want more
Now! These guys have it going on. They hslave escaped the trend to blow your head off and went for drink ability!

Poured from a 12 OZ can into a pint glass.
Aroma- Has a bread and malt aroma, not a huge smell.
Appearance- A nice clear yellow to amber color with a small white head.
Taste- Has a semi-sweet flavor of malt with some yeast tossed in, I really enjoyed the flavor.
Palate- A light to medium bodied beer with moderate carbonation.
Overall- A really enjoyable lager. This beer is made for hot days. I would search for this beer to have it again.
