Opaque. Dusty chocolate brown frothy head. Great retention. Adequate lacing.
Love the aroma. Big cocoa and roasted malt aroma. Some coffee and chocolate too. Quite pronounced.
Flavor is big on roasted malt, chocolate and coffee. There is a very nice lingering roasted malt bitterness. Some light nuances of anise as well.
Nice chalky, dusty feel with the cocoa powder aspect. Good medium-full bodied feel.
Real drinkable for an Impy stout. I tend to like my Impys over 10%, but this is really solid. Really solid. But if anything, I'd suggest amping this up just a titch more all around.

A-Jet black with perfect creamy brown head.
S-Love the aroma. Milk chocolate, malted milk balls, some light caramel and vanilla as well.
T-Very roasty....Java and espresso notes emerge in a big way along with now more of an unsweetened dark chocolate flavor. Light notes of milk chocolate as well.
M-Not immense but I'd still call it full bodied. Finishes slightly dry with a bitter touch.
O-Excellent Imperial Stout. I love the aroma and roastiness of this.
