Bomber > Pint Glass

A - Mostly clear deep gold with a nice finger of soapy off white head, medium on the lacing.
S - Lots of pine and citrus, very classic west coast aroma, a litte skunky and dank, caramel and bread malt
T - Mild pine and grassy bitterness up front, dank floral comes in with some lightly sweet malt, some bread, and citrus zest.
M - Finishes rather dry and rather bitter.
O - Overall a good west coast IPA, done right by the standard.

Bottle pour. Can't find a date on this bottle, which could be its downfall. Malty aroma with tiny hints of citrus. Bitter and unremarkable taste that could have been better balanced with more malt presence. Perhaps it's better fresh, assuming this one isn't. Bottling date please. Decent mouthfeel, but mixed with unwelcome bitterness.

bomber into a tulip.

pours a dark golden color with a big 2 inch head. smell is very fruity and hoppy...impressive nose. taste starts out fruity but quickly turns hoppy and ends with a very bitter finish. ooh, nice! medium bodied, medium carbonation.

overall a very impressive IPA! recommended.

A: dark, hay colored with excellent head retention, without much lacing though.
S: smells like it tastes. Yumm!
T: fresh fresh fresh hop piney flavor. This brew may have a one track mind but thats ok with me.
M: a tad oily but do able. hides the alcohol well.
O: i like the fact that it's from San Jose. Fresh brew at a semi decent price makes my wallet happy. Ill be def looking out for theit other offerings.

Served in a pint glass at Ale Arsenal.

Clear gold. Pellucid. Heavy lace, light head. The scent is hoppy, bitter, and lightly fruity. Very pleasant. The taste is strangely complex. Citra fruit, cascade-magnum bitterness, cascade body, centennial accents. Loads of hops. Crisp, biscuity malts on the mouthfeel. Fresh (1-2 weeks) and crisp. Recommended. Drinkable and savory. Good IPA.

Serving type: on-tap
