6oz serving in a plastic cup at MBCP Day. This was the secret beer, to get it you had to ask a guy named Don "What's for Breakfast"
A- Pours a dark brown with some slight translucency, just a thin off-white head forms that fades at a moderate pace leaving some light lacing.
S- Burnt sugar, cinnamon, maple syrup, toasted malts, nice aroma strength. They absolutely nailed the French toast aroma in the beer, couldn't be more perfect with the maple syrup coming out nicely with the burnt sugars.
T- Cinnamon, thin maple syrup, burnt sugars, a bit of a brown ale aspect, light flavor of toast- tastes sort of like French Toast Crunch Cereal. Tasty but the flavors don't come out as nicely as in the nose, still flavorful and unique though.
M- Fairly thin, fairly low carbonation, very drinkable. This beer wasn't nearly as creamy as MBCP which I had right after. In my opinion this is the shortcoming of the beer and one of the reasons why this beer isn't quite as good as MBCP.
O- This beer was very unique and was a great surprise addition to the MBCP day draft lineup fitting right in with the breakfast theme. Like all Funky Buddha beers they absolutely nailed the unique gimmicky aspect of the beer capturing the French toast part of it perfectly. While I didn't enjoy this beer quite as much as MBCP it definitely is worth trying at least for the unique factor.

On tap at the brewery. Served in a plastic cup.
Appearance - Brown body. Small khaki head. Mostly just a hefty collar.
Smell - Tons of maple syrup. Nutmeg. Cinnamon. Smells like French toast.
Taste - Very strong spice character. Cinnamon overwhelms everything. Maple flavor lends a sweetness. Toasty malt behind it. A little nutmeg.
Mouthfeel - Grainy rather than creamy and sweet. Medium body.
Overall - A little strong on the spice, but tasty. Not as spot on their other treatments.
