on tap at bainbridge barrel house - served in snifter
Pours a hazed golden color with a thick froth of white head. Dissolves slowly, leaving patches of lacing on the glass. Worth noting that this (like other FB berliners) poured insanely foamy, taking an extremely long time to settle down into a full glass.
Juicy, fragrant tropical pineapple nose with tartness. Slightly funky, straw and grain, fruit sweetness.
Absolutely pineapple explosion! Wonderful marriage between sour, tart fruits and juicy pineapple with other tropical tones. Mild backbone with soft yeasty funk and grain. Finishes sweet and tart with more pineapple.
Lighter medium body, higher carbonation, bubbly and lasting on the tongue. Another expressive, intense beer from Funky Buddha which delivers exactly what the name promises. I had two full pours and could've easily enjoyed another.

On tap at the Peg’s Berliner Bash. Served in a mini snifter. Pours a nice golden color with a bit of a head. Nose has pineapple and a slight bit of cheesiness in the background. Flavor has tropical pineapple character plus light wheat and a touch of acidity from the base plus a bit of pineapple acidity. Light body. Good, not great.

Had during the 2nd Annual Redneck Racin’ & Tastin’ while tailgating at the dirt track race! Big thanks goes out to BRoss242 for this one! This one won BRoss242 the trophy for the best brew shared during the tasting! Congrats man! Served from growler into a NoDa snifter. Poured a hazy whitish yellow with a half finger pure white head that subsided to a minimal amount quickly. Maintained nice lacing throughout the glass. The aroma was comprised of sweet malt, pineapple, tart, sour, and earth. The flavor was of sweet malt, pineapple, sour, and tart. It had a light feel on the palate with high carbonation. Overall this was quite a good brew. This one definitely got my vote as the best brew of the day as it was really well balanced and all the components in this one worked really well together. The pineapple was definitely the star of this one. With a nice touch of sour and tart going on as well, this one was a no-brainer. An absolute must try by any means necessary.
