A: pours a pale golden colour with bubbly two finger head that dissipates to a quarter inch foam, leaving little lace; plenty of carbonation bubbles. However, particles are noticeable under closer inspection.

S: typical pilsener: crisp, clean, grassy hopped, slightly sweet aroma

T: nice crisp hoppy bitterness hits first, however, it dies of quickly leaving a metallic aftertaste

M: light, thin, watery texture. Decent carbonation but weak finish

D: This was quite a disappointment. It has the crispness of a good pilsener, but the flavour drops off far too quickly and the mouthfeel leaves much to be desired. It’s an easy beer to drink and I could certainly put down a few of them – however, I would much sooner move on to something else.

Can: Poured a pale yellow color pils with a big bubbly white head with average retention. Aroma of grassy malt is pleasant but a bit weak overall. Taste of semi-sweet malt with low hops level makes this beer rather boring. I’m not even sure if this is a pilsner by name only as it tends to taste and smells like a pale lager to me.

Had this on the plane flying over to Germany, didn't have it on the way back. Very clear yellow when poured, it did have a creamy white head that lasted through-out the whole beer. It had a grainy aroma, perhaps also essence of hop extracts? Taste wasn't great, I detected a metallic note that I'll atribute to the can. Basically this beer was sweet and yellow. Did leave sheet lacing in my plastic cup however.

The color is a good full golden. Hat of white foam.
The smell is very light, just some graasy notes. Background maltiness, noticeable.
Average taste. The right bitterness (well, maybe a little less than the right amount, but there is, and also not bad).
But, after all, not too interesting. Average.
Too neutral and banal.

This is a totally unremarkable beer, bordering on one I would avoid.

It poured with a thin white head sitting atop a dull gold body. The smell was mostly malty, with a hint of spicy hops coming through. The taste followed that lead, starting with bread-like malt and getting a bit spicy. The finish was verging on unpleasant, though: a powdery, yeasty aftertaste that didn't exactly have me craving more. Couple that with a thin, watery mouthfeel and the overall result is a beer that isn't worth revisiting when there are so many better out there.

Appearance: Clear gold color, with a 1 finger width snow white head that gradually fades into obscurity. No lacing to note. Average Pilsener fare.

Smell: Light scent of sweet barley malt with a moderate hoppy smell, I'm thinking noble/dry hops. Not too much else to it.

Taste: Just like the smell- a moderate amount of malt slightly dominated by dry hops and bitterness. For a pilsener you can certainly do much better

Mouthfeel: Extremely light, almost watery. Well carbonated.

Drinkability: It goes down easy enough, but there's not much reason to drink it. Flavor is weak for a style with a fiery hop character. Better pilseners are easily available in the German and American markets. I'd liken this lager to the Keystone of German Pils.

Good enough looking beer, big white chunky head, clear golden colour.

Gentle aroma, slightly hoppy, grassy, but not something to draw you in. Nicely carbonated, gently bitter up front. Not distinctively hoppy or malty.

An average pilsner, not offensive in any way, so drinkable enough.

1/2 liter can....no freshness code Pours a pale gold with a smallish white cap, modest lacing, heavy carbonation. Aroma is faint...leafy-grassy light whisp of citrus and biscuit malt. Thin and spritzy...light on malts, slightly bitter and dry with a clean finish

A - Pours a clear light gold, with a thick, steady head of white foam.

S - Nose is sharp, herbal/grassy hops.

T/M - Light and crisp, with a straightforward hop and moderately long finish. Fairly sweet with a hint of astringency.

D - Pretty much a light, easy drinking pils. Nothing too special going on here.

A: Pale yellow color, fully translucent. Pure white fizzy head. Not much volume at all, not much retention and no lacing at all.

S: Biscuit malts are dominant. Some white bread in this. Corn syrup. Light citrus and herbal hops.

T: Biscuit malts and white bread mostly. Corn syrup, makes me think there might be some adjuncts in this. Light herbal and citrus-y hops. Light taste. More malt and more hops would have helped.

M: Light body with medium to high carbonation. Fits well.

D: As with most beers with lighter taste and lower ABV, this could be drank all day.

An average, hum drum pilsener. Nice golden, clear colour, but a fairly bland, overly malty smell. Hop presence, but not very strong, not distinctly Saaz.

Undistinct taste. Mellow hops, sweet malts. Not a true, crisp pilsener taste.

Drinkable, and pleasant on the tongue, but so unremarkable, why bother?

Funky Euro can with the brewery’s coat of arms over the gothic lettering “Furstenberg”. Apparently, this is beer from the black forest…ok then.

Very pale looking, fluffy white head that took it’s time receding into a white cap. Loads of sticky web-like lacing.

Some faint hop and a hint of cooked veggies for aroma here.

Fairly sharp hop at the front end. No real malt until a 3 count and then some slightly bready, sweet malt is noted. The finish is quite dry. Hop taste tends to linger.

Mouthfeel is a bit on the astringent side…but still fairly smooth due to moderate carbonation.

Not bad, but nothing to scream about either

Let me first say that the bottle I tried did not look like the picture shown at the time I am doing this review but the name is accurate. This is a bottle from the mini-bar in my room in Munich.

0.33L bottle poured into a pilsner glass.

A = Clear light golden liquid. Small white head, medium lacing. Retains foam cover on surface.

S = Light hay field notes, earthy hops, floral undertones. Good refreshing standard pils smells.

T = Malty dough tastes with relatively sharp bitterness, sharp cheese notes, with floral overlay. Decent taste, but a little cloying after a while. Long bitter finish.

M = Light bodied, good mouthcoating, good frothy carbonation with slight bite on tongue.

D = Not a great beer but one that could be quaffed easily for bar drinking.

Poured from a blue 500 ml can, name in white psuedo-gothic font up one side of it, 4.8% abv, best before date stamped onto bottom (12/2004). An extremely crystal clear pilsener, straw gold in hue, big foamy white head upon pour which eventually recedes to a thin cap and leaves ivy-like lacing along the sides of the glass. Crisp metallic grain on the nose, as well as floral/herbal hops. Flavour is crisp and no-nonsense, dry grain at first, followed by a metallic nickel flavour in the middle, finishing with an astringent hoppiness. Mouthfeel is so crisp and dry it nearly makes me pucker with thirst, I could really use one of those Carib lagers I reviewed before this one right about now. It still possesses a full body however, and is an easy drinker, but I'm having problems getting over the parching texture of the finish. This is one pilsener that will definitely dry up all your saliva, which in the end might be a major benefit to all of you serious droolers out there, especially on a first date.
