Two half-litre glasses in The Golden Angel, a bar/restaurant full of 'Golden Angels' hanging from the ceiling and in pictures: Munsterplatz, Freiburg.
Wet and cold Wednesday in Sep 2013, just before hitting the near-by Ganter Brauereiausschank.
Clean, clear and bright golden: white head on each pour.
I thought it sweet and very nice: mild semi-sweet malty nose with hints of the sweeter citrus fruits.
The taste was also malt sweet, but with a good crisp hop note to keep the sweetness in check.
Pleased we wandered in the place: didn't expect to find a new beer in such a joint.

I bought this bottle a few months ago when i was in the middle of Germany. There was a very nice beershop in the center of Heilbronn and they had a decent selection of German beers.
This bottle was opened during dinner last saturday night. These beers are a real treat when you have dinner. For tastings you should try the special German beers...
Poured in my Struise glass this is a typical German beer. Nice yellow fluid and a fluffy head with almost no carbonation. Nice grassy smell. Taste with light citrus fruits. Crispy beer. Not the best i had untill now but decent.

Pours a sloid clear yellow, huge frothy white head, light aquaous aroma with light malt and floral aromas. Taste is malty, dry and crisp. Available everywhere in southern germany, most likely a german version of a macro... but a exellent one.
