Its funny to me that most beer names tend to be spot on, using "Just" in a beer means to me that you are settling for something. This beer settles for being well just beer, just average beer.

saw this at my local store and figured it'd be a good time to try some summer seasonals that I haven't had yet.

Poured from the bottle into a clean pint glass. Pour resulted in a fluffy bright white head that sat upon a cloudy straw yellow body.

The nose detected refreshingly fruity notes in the slightest degree. Notes of wheat and malt come through. Hopes aren't too noticeable, maybe things will change when it warms up.

When I'm looking for a summer beer, I'm always persuaded by the sun to go towards the lighter craft beer fare. Plenty of carbonation is present to help bring a zip of bitterness to the hops but the wheat and malts really shine through here, as they're supposed to. You can really detect the wheat in this as it plays the leading roll, finishing smooth with not much lingering.

Mouthfeel - Light to medium light, which i'm sure the wheat contributed to.

Overall - This is a perfect beer to pair with those hot and humid summer days. This beer aims to be a light summer beer with flavor and it does just that. It keeps you coming back for more. With a slew of wheat beers in the market, this is one that I would go back to in a heartbeat. I think this will be part of my summer rotation from now on. This beer presents it self as nothing more than a great summer season and it has reached it's goal.

12 oz.

Pours a light lemon gold with a white lacing for a head.

Smells of light sweet malts and lemon citrus, hints of coriander and lemongrass.

Light lemon citrus and coriander over a light sweet maltiness.

Medium to light body with soft carbonation.

A nice refreshing summer ale that is light and goes down easy. Nothing superb, but a fine beach beer or post-mowing beer that tastes good and is worth having on hand for such an occasion.

A - Looks like a pale wheat ale a very light hazy yellow. Head is good just a 1/4 inch but reduces to heavy lacy foam head. Decent.
S - Lightly lemon zest, wheat base, and some hops it smells ok.
T - Taste is lighter than I wanted but a decent summer beer. Light wheat, lemon peel, and sweet malts.
M - Light to medium. A lawn mower beer.

Overall it's good enough for the dollar I paid but kind of lackluster compared to their IPA which is excellent. Will not get it again.
