Had this beer at the brewery from tap, poured into short pint glass. Golden amber color with a nice creamy head and good curtain lacing. Lacks distinct smell, sort of nutty and caramel. Follows to taste which is better defined. Caramel and apricot. Too thin for the style.

This beer is based on a recipe by Thomas Jefferson, the third President of the United States. I thought this beer was pretty decent but I expected it to be a little smoother, but it is an old recipe.
Look: semi-clear reddish brown with a thick white head.
Aroma: A bit fruity and bit boozy
Taste: Toasted bread, maybe some coffee, maybe some blueberry, quite boozy. The booziness is stronger than the Hop Character, which is not good, but overall it is OK.
Feel: It has a medium body, creamy, but as I said felt a bit boozy.

An aptly named beer. This beer's flavor is hidden better than the weapons of mass destruction in Iraq.
