Pours a slightly cloudy, yellow coloration with a small, fizzy head. Smells of lemon. Taste follows the nose, also tasting like lemon, with not much else coming through here, except perhaps for hints of doughy, grainy malt. Finishes with a medium tartness and some lemon lingering in the aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel with a light body and medium carbonation.
This pretty much tastes exactly like the non-alcoholic version, which is to say like lemonade. There's hints of malt to it, but no hops or alcohol detectable. It's not too sweet, but quite tangy and sour instead, very refreshing, with a zesty, natural lemon flavor. Quite nice for what it is.

Gosser has been coming up with these “Natur” things, labeling practically everything with it except for their marzen. Not sure but I guess it is saying that its ingredients come from a natural source or whatever, tbh it doesn’t make much difference to me. I only care how the beer tastes.
In this case it is a radler, or lemon beer which is more like a lemonade than a beer, carbonated soft drink with some beer overtones. Mine was non-al so it WAS actually a soft drink.
For me it was too sweet and too artificial, nothing to write home about (and still I do, unbelievable…)

Gösser Natur Radler
500ml bottle
€3.60 @ Gösser Bierklinik, Wien, Austria
This is an interesting beer given that it's a "radler". It appears to be made with real lemonade, rather than just the lemon-lime soda that's more common. It's both more lemon-like, and more beer-like as well being that most examples today use a base beer that's almost without any character whatsoever. That's not to say that this is beer with lemonade added, to the contrary it really is more like fresh lemonade with some beer added in. It's sweet, slightly tart, and only gently malty. I'm sure there's some hop flavor to the base beer but you can't really detect it; and the bitterness level is quite low as well. Still, this is a fresh, lively "beer" that's got some malt character behind it, mainly showing in the finish. Of all of the radlers that I've sampled I think this is what I would consider as the most authentic, or should I say historically correct? It's worth trying if you're curious.
