Notes & Commercial Description:
Beer added by: Jason on 10-01-2013

This historic sour German wheat beer is spiced with salt and coriander. It has a refreshing, tart and lactic character, with a crisp and slightly dry finish. We hope you enjoy drinking this unique style as much as we enjoyed brewing it.

12 oz can. Pours hazy light straw yellow with a small white head that quickly goes to a thin film that leaves little lacing.

The aroma is sweet lactic wheat malts.

The flavor is sweet and tangy sour lactic fruit with some wheaty malt and maybe a touch of salt. The mouthfeel is a little thin and watery.

Overall, lots of tangy lactic fruity sourness but not much else.

Has a light sour smell to it. Clear yellow in color. Hardly any head. Ummm that's good. Very light in taste but balanced between a gose and tequila barrel. Can taste them both even though it's a light beer. Good it's good.

Tequila barrel aged version, not sure if this is the same or not.

Delicious. This is true to form. Not over-sour. You can taste the salt, but it is not a salt-bomb. Highly recommend.

Pale straw color. Berries on the nose. Vague fruit flavors. Watery wheat, almost like it was diluted from the original batch. Lacking that salty sweet interplay. Half-assed attempt.
