This historic sour German wheat beer is spiced with salt and coriander. It has a refreshing, tart and lactic character, with a crisp and slightly dry finish. We hope you enjoy drinking this unique style as much as we enjoyed brewing it.

tequila barrel aged bottle. not sure if uror is always barrel aged, but this drink was, and it was lovely. pale pale blonde very light colored beer, radiant though, crystal clear and holding a nice inch of rising white head. the nose is more gose than barrel, which i think keeps it honest. its tart, but not really lacto heavy, not acidic, not sour. the salt and the tequila barrel go well together, which was obviously the idea for this beer, its a match made in heaven, with just enough of that sharp agave profile grabbing the salt. the beer is so light, easy drinking and all, that its almost amazing that it can have so much flavor going on. you would think it would need a bigger base, but it does just fine as it is. the barrel character is impressive. seemingly done with decently quality tequila too, its not harsh or chemically. id like to see the beer just a little more sour, maybe some lactic fermentation rather than simply a sour mash. the acidity would help it stick i think. light body, great carbonation, long and interesting finish. i think this is a tweak or two away from being epic, but i think they accomplished their mission with it. maybe not worth the nearly 20 bucks i dropped on it, but i am glad to have tried this one of a kind brew.
