12oz bottle poured into pilsner glass. No dating but label notes brewed in Vietnam and hints that the water is from the Perfume river in Vietnam. However, this brew is shipped to Texas and distributed by a local Texas company.

The aroma is tin, metallic and a bit off putting. Even after a vigorous swirl there is not much change or improvement.

The first half of the brew follows the aroma. The second 6 oz or so are better, more along the lines of a thin lager with minimal hop presence and that tin flavor remains on the back end.

As expected from a pilsner, tangy, nicely carbonated, smooth.

I can believe that if this was shipped to a temperate local climate that the flavor would hold. As is, steer clear.

A: Pours a crystal clear medium yellow in color with moderate to heavy amounts of active visible carbonation rising from the bottom of the glass and faint bright yellow highlights. The beer has a two finger tall dense sudsy foamy bright white head that slowly reduces to a large patch of mottled thin film covering the entire surface of the beer and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Moderate aromas of cereal grain malts with a moderate amount of corn adjuncts. Very light aromas of grassy hops.

T: Upfront there is a moderate flavor of cereal grain malts with a moderate amount of corn adjuncts and a light to moderate amount of sweetness. That is followed by very light flavors of grassy hops which contribute a light amount of lingering bitterness.

M: Slightly heavier than light bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Slightly thin/watery.

O: Not bad but nothing special. Easy to drink with the well hidden alcohol and lighter mouthfeel. Probably quite refreshing on a hot day in a tropical environment. Would pair decently with asian food, including spicy ones.

Bottle from Julio's
Pale yellow, sweet maltiness little to no hops. Not horrible, but I only picked it up because I thought I didn't already have the country.

Bottle from Little Saigon.. Only a decent brew, but still an okay take as long as it is fresh... Mild and a little bit of corn .. sweetish lager .. Not gonna hate on it, but this is a humid weather beer, and Boise doesn't fit that frame... Not good at all IMO.

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a light straw amber with light gold tints and a half finger white head with good retention and light lacing. Very light aroma of sweet malt and corn adjunct. Flavor is very light sweet malt, light grain and a hint of grassy hops and metallic taste. Starts thin and loses most of the intial flavor. Light bodied. Possibly the thinnest adjunct lager I've ever had. The flavors aren't too bad, typical adjunct sweet malt, but very light as if watered down. I'm not sure they even tried with this one. I'll bet there's something tastier in Vietnam. Poor.
