A great beer for the summer weather. Our version is a rich golden color and light hopping makes this a refreshing and easy drinking brew. Fermentation was achieved with an authentic Belgian yeast strain that produces slight fruit and peppery notes along with a light phenolic flavor. The malt sweetness complements the yeast flavors making for a well balanced brew.

Pours a clear, gold color. 3/4 inch head of an off-white color. Great retention and great lacing. Smells of leafy-tartness, hint of cherry, pale malt, hint of hop, slight sweet malt. Fits the style of a Belgian Pale Ale. Mouth feel is smooth and crisp, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of earthy malt, sweet malt, slight pale malt, slight hop, hint of cherry tartness. Overall, good appearance, feel, and blend.

On draft at the source. The beer is golden hued with a half inch of white head. The aroma offers some floral hops, with some hay / grass notes. The flavor is a bit too sweet. The finish should be drier. The body is a bit syrupy, rather than light and alluring, which is certainly the case when drinking one of the many fine authentic examples of the style. This wasn't terrible, but could stand a few tweaks / improvements.
