On-tap @ the source.
A: Pours a slightly hazed pale yellow with a big-bubbled 1/4-inch thick head which leaves splotches of lace.
N: Floral and citrusy with some funky brett.
T: Mild bretty, floral, mild wheat notes.
M: Semi-moderate body and semi-medium carbonation. Semi-dry finish.
O: Good, but not quite the funk I was expecting.

On tap for The Bruery Sucreversary held at The Phoenix Club in Anaheim, CA.
Pours a hazy yellow with a foamy off-white head that settles to wisps of film on top of the beer. Tiny dots of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, grain, spice, yeast, and Brett aromas. Taste is much the same with slightly sour spice and Brett flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of Brett bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer with a Brett presence that works well with the base beer.

This pours a lightly golden-tan in color, as seen in the dim light of the bar. There’s a subdued Brett aroma which emerges as it warms. I found the Brett character to come across while sipping, although it passes quickly. Not as pronounced of a funky character as I had hoped for, but nonetheless still an excellent sipper.
