At 7.5% ABV & 100 IBUs, Phalanx is somewhere between a single IPA & a double IPA. It prominently features Australian Summer hops, which bring a very distinctive peach/melon character to the beer. That awesome fruit character is balanced by some citrusy Chinook hops & a touch of dankness from Horizon.

A: Soft pour not much head amber in color hazy
S: smells very herbal a little grape fruit rind smell that somewhat harsh smell
T: Starts out slightly fruity then goes to a more herbal taste with a little resin on the end surprisingly not bitter at all for 100 IBU finishes with a more herbal aftertaste
M: Medium feel for an ipa a little high on carbonation
O: Nothing really that great here it's solid and if you like herbal IPAs if it's not your thing move alone they make better beer
