Dank you (ha!), Abraham.

Pouring a mildly hazy amber with a dense, off-white head with excellent retention and lacing, this looks great! The nose is bright, fresh and dank, with a blend of dank weed and citrus pith. While inspired by Nugget Nectar, with the bready, toffee-like note with a hint of caramel present, it does add a unique twist with an oatmeal character that's surprisingly noticeable.

Opening with a big, bright and dank pine resin hop blast with moderate grapefruit, candied orange and some weed, this is excellent. An oatmeal-like creaminess is present on the mid-palate, working well with the hops. Also present is a mild sweetness with notes of toffee and brown sugar. Drying on the finish, moderately bitter and plenty pine-y, this beer is medium-light in body, moderately carbonated and thoroughly enjoyable. Excellent stuff.

Appearance: Pours a surprisingly light amber color (for an amber!) with a magnificently formed head that coats the glass and leaves streaks and spots of lacing

Smell: The label says it is dank and it is dank, with caramel and citrus pith tones

Taste: Caramel, with buttery diacetyl building underneath; the dank and pithy hops take over, in the middle, bringing an unusual combination of starfruit and melon to the mix; the buttery elements of the malt are a bit strong, in the finish

Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation

Overall: I was excited to try the beers from this brewery and this one has sat in my fridge for a couple of months too long, perhaps, taking the hops in a different direction than the brewer intended, I will have to try a fresher example the next time I see this one

Thanks, lincolnbeard, for the opportunity

Received as an extra in a trade and poured into my Duvel tulip.

A - Pours a crystal clear copper hue with a nice fat one finger head that fades to leave a nice creamy blanket. Solid

S - Aromas of caramel, pine resin, sweeter malts, rather balanced albeit light. Slight earthiness too

T - Taste is light caramel, some pine, faint citrus, light peppery hops with slight spice. Malts are slightly heavier with this, perhaps not super super fresh. Still, a solid amber.

M - Mouthfeel is lightly carbonated, clean, crisp, slightly thin though and the alcohol is lightly noticeable.

O - Overall, a solid amber ale. Nice appearance and aroma though wish it was a bit hoppier. Still, not all that bad.
