This bright blonde ale shines a brilliant malt character. Born of breezes, captured sunlight and whifle, this beer is a balanced yet dry siren whose first sip calls for the third. Hopped with arguable restraint with Crystal and Bravo hops, Cougar stays fierce enough to raise eyebrows yet is tame enough to be called sessionable.

12 oz 2022 can from the Wall of Beer in Clemson SC.
Appearance. Yellow-straw colored body with a weak white head.
A bit bolder than the average blonde ale, perhaps, but well balanced. Hints of wheat bread. Mildly bitter.

This is a very easy light beer. Pairs well with really any food and is refreshing. Has earthy undertones to the taste.

Pours a clear gold color. 1/4 inch head of a white color. Slight retention and slight lacing. Smells of citrus (orange), pale malt, slight sweet malt, wheat, and slight floral hops. Fits the style of an American Blonde Ale. Mouth feel is sharp and crisp, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of pale malt, wheat, orange, and a hint of citrus hops. Overall, weak appearance, decent aroma, blend, and body.

Pours golden yellow with a foamy white head. Smell is bready, herbal, and hops. Not very aromatic, but inviting. Taste starts more earthy and doughy and moves quickly into a good hop presence for a light beer. Light mouthfeel, nice and smooth, good carbonation. Overall a very flavorful light beer, nice on a warm summer day. Worth checking out.
