Brewed in collaboration with the Lumenocity, this single hop Hüell Melon pale ale radiates with notes of summer melon and strawberry.

Pours a nice golden color with a one finger white head with nice retention.
The fruits are present on the nose, melon, berries.
The taste is very light. The fruits are there but subtle, not a whole lot of hop bitterness. Nothing else really too complex.
Feels thin, a lot of carbonation.
Overall, the beer is light and refreshing. Tasty but I'm left wishing it was more complex.

2016 edition poured from the 22oz bottle into a pint glass
A: Pale orange with a one-finger head
S: Floral, melon, grassy
T: Matches the nose with the addition of the strawberry the label mentions
M: Light-bodied, fresh
O: I could see this pairing well with an orchestra concert. Tasty but not so heavy or complex it distracts from enjoying life outside the glass

Aroma is floral and lightly fruity, with a bit of a metallic character. Somewhat subtle.
Flavor is very floral, accented by melon, with an earthy, bitter finish. Somewhat harsh.

22 oz bottle purchased Summer 2015 enjoyed August 21, 2015 in a MadTree tulip/snifter.
Look - Light golden yellow. See through. A lot of carbonation on glass. Finger of white head, medium bubbles. Good lacing.
Smell - Straw. Wheat. Melon. Spice.
Taste - Straw and wheat. Bitter. Light melon, citrus, and grapefruit. Lemon.
Feel - Spice comes through here more than taste. Lingering tongue spiciness. Carbonation is heavy. Beer is light.
Overall - A lot of flavor for a 5.2%. Bitter over citrus.
