Poured from a can.

Typical domestic beer.

Looks pale and yellow.

Smells and tastes like most domenstic... light on the nose with grains. Not as much bitter taste compared to other domestics, but it is still just a camping beer.

Would I buy it again? Mostly just for camping...

16 oz can was poured into a pint glass.

Appearance: This beer poured a one finger head that reduced to a thin layer. It us a golden straw yellow color with great clarity and bubbles seen coming up through the glass. Spotty lacing on the glass as the beer was drank.

Smell: Cereal grains, bready malts, some sweetness, lager yeast, and mild grassy hops.

Taste: Sweet and bready grains, lager yeast, grassy hops, and mild bitterness.

Mouthfeel: Typical lager aftertaste, crisp, refreshing, light bodied, and medium carbonation.

Overall: Pretty standard average adjunct lager. Seen it a bunch of times, so I gave it a whirl.

Tall boy can - six pack for $4.00! Pours straw yellow - a shade darker than the average American Adjunct Lager. Foamy white head, lingers for a bit then stays as a thin wispy lace on top of the beer. Aromas is faint hops and cornbread - again, a bit above average for the style. Taste - Bready with a corn tinge, hops are definitely apparent but very light - very clean flavor profile - crisp and refreshing. Overall, just a touch better than many of its more famous competitors - given that this is one of the cheapest beers out there ,it is not bad for what it is. would choose over Coors, Bud, or Pabst.

Poured in a pint glass from a 12oz can

A: Straw color with a finger and a half worth of a soapy white head that retains for longer than one would anticipate.

S: Grainy. Corn. Some weird soapy aroma. Very sweet in the smell. Almost a cloyingly sweet aroma.

T: Corn. A little grain husk type flavor. Sweet. Really no bitterness besides in the aftertaste (IBU around 12-14..?) Easy going. That weird soapy taste does kick in at the back of the palate.

M: Watery, slick, not quite carbonated enough IMO. Dry finish. Pretty clean and refreshing.

O: It's an alright, cheap AAL. Beer on a budget? Check it out. Nothing special but better than light beer.
