Not much else to say but it's a giant adult beverage candy store, generally clean and well maintained. Very large selection of beer/wine and spirits, though it seems most of the beers are a bit past or right at expiration dates so not the freshest. Cigars and drinking accessory selection is pretty nice too. Parking in the immediate vicinity is a bit tight but there's usually a few spots farther away from the store.
Over the last few years the staff have come to know my wife and I so they're very friendly. Worth checking out if you're in the area.

Vibe here always feels like it’s geared to selling (not loving) beer. Good Selection though. Some of the staff are cool and some don’t seem to know beer at all so I assume they’re the wine folks.

Ambiance: ok
Service: on
Selection: the selection is ok,
Food: no applicable
Value: ok
Overall: Total wine is like a grocery store, but you can still find fresh beers. Selection is also good, plenty of craft beers to choose from, specially popular ones

This is a box store, so the wine is essentially non-existent, but with all the alcohol they have everywhere, there is facade or a good time occurring. Everything that I saw they offered was of good quality. Whenever someone walked past me, they asked if I need help. That is a good sign. The selection was very good, and the prices were even better. Compared to the prices in Bellingham, this place was Walmart. When in the area, I would definitely come here again to check out what's on the shelves.

I dropped in at Total Wine today to pick up a mixed dozen, as I often do. I've been impressed with Total Wine ever since they moved in. When I heard they were putting one in (shortly after Washington privatized liquor sales), I assumed it would be all wine & booze. Thankfully, I was quite wrong!
They have perhaps 1,000 different beers available in singles, sorted by style, with sections for limited release and seasonal offerings. They even have a printed-out list of all their beers available as singles so that you can peruse the list as well as just scanning the shelves for the beer you want -- a nice little touch. Available, too, of course, are many sixers, half-racks and cases of better-known brews and macros -- there's really something here for everyone.
There are 20 taps and three growler-filling stations in the back, manned by enough employees that I've never seen a wait there. Mostly local offerings are on tap, with the occasional Sierra Nevada or Lagunitas. Nothing really rare, but still quite impressive.
The store is immaculately clean and well-organized, heavily staffed with friendly folks and the beer guys seem quite knowledgeable. I know it's a big chain store, but their success seems entirely warranted.
