Medium amber in the pint shaker with rings of lacing as you sip. Pleasant hint of wheaty malt followed by a mineral dry taste. Lots of the Belgian character burt not strongly yeasty.
Bitter finish and a perfumey flavor, like some kind of Belgian Kölsch. Quite pleasant and quaffable. On tap at George's at the Cove in La Jolla.

August 12th, 2015 - If I can, I try to start my taster lines with blondes so they don't get overwhelmed later down the hour. But some blondes taste like they can stand up against other ales, like this blonde. It has a crisp and clean pilsener style on the nose and taste. Light bodied and foamy, it is very biscuity for a blonde, and ready in the aftertaste. A bakery in a glass!

Poured from 16oz can into Benchmark Brewing Seidel. No date.
L: Clear gold, nice off-white finger width head with pretty solid retention. Outstanding stick.
S: Smells of pale malts, some floral hops lending a fruity bouquet to the aroma. Faint yeast.
T: Again nice pale biscuit like malt flavors with a light fruity finish. Not a lot of yeast presence which it could use but this is a tasty beer.
F: Light, crisp, semi-dry.
O: Could use some tweaks but altogether this is a solid beer.
