Being obsessed with hops, I often forget just how good belgian ales can be. This one is no exception.
On tap at BTs, poured into a La Chouffe tulip glass. As mentioned in other reviews, this beer as a very light and nice body--very easy to drink. You don't feel like you are drinking a beer with the gravity that it actually is.
A great smooth finish that leaves your palate dry and crisp and wanting more. An excellent Belgian beer.

La Chouffe is a very refreshing, sweet yet interesting beer.
I like it's color, which is a bit hazy.
The smell ain't spectacular, but the taste is very good and typical 'Ardennen taste'. A bit banana sweet perhaps, but overall very nice.
I would serve it at 8-10 C, or maybe even warmer. It gets smoother that way.
Ideal for Summer. Very 'easy drink'.
