Color is dark golden. The first pour yields a relative clear beer, but the second and third pours are cloudy from the suspended yeast. An off-white head of 4 fingers gives good retention and a fair amount of lacing.
The aromas seem to match the taste, and are complex. Spices and citrus smells and flavors dominate, with hints of lemons and other tangy citrus, as well as vanilla and licorice. This is backed by light bready malt and wheat notes, typical Belgian yeast funkiness and a little bitterness of hops. Overall character is neither sweet nor dry but balanced well. As the beer warms, the coriander spices take more center stage.
Mouthfeel is zesty, with high carbonation and a finish that is fairly dry with a pleasant, spicy character. Nice alcohol warming affect as you work through this one.
Overall a superb beer and one I would highly recommend.
