Had this in Amsterdam on Easter in the Hotel Bar. On Tap and this was my final beers of the day, after touring the city and hitting Café Belgique. (Café Belgique is the coolest beer bar in Amsterdam).
I did not expect much as I had some really good beers during the day.
This was a very nice spiced ale, with hints of corrender, black pepper and malt.
It was extrondenly drinkable and we drank about 4 of them before noticing the bar staff was waiting on us to finish.
Could have drank that beer to the end of the world that night.
Serving type: on-tap

A: Nice thick head on initial pour into a tulip glass , fine white foam with good lacing. Almost cream like in texture
S: Hint of hay, barn, champagne(?)
T: A tad malty without being too sweet, hint of peppercorn, clove, bread and only the slightest astringency from hops. Hint of apple or pear
M: Finely effervescent (like champagne) without being to gassy
Great beer, excellent price point at less than $3/bottle. Would definitely purchase again.
