1pt 9.4 Fl. oz bottle courtesy of TwelveVoltMan. Monstrous thanks for sending this back to PA with me after the OSU-Uof(why can't we beat OSU)M game.

Pours a succulent chunky bright gold in color. Simply Titanic-sized, uber-creamy head boils up and lies in fluffy bunches in the glass. Huge-ma splotches of nose-clinging lace enhance the experience.

Aromas, per the label, are a result of Tomahawk, Amarillo, and Saaz hops. Holy shit. The bottle don't lie. Assault on the nasal passages by the trifecta of hops. And it's all good. Playing second fiddle to the 3 Hopsmen of the Apocalypse is a lively array of peppery spice, doughy yeast, and even some funk as it warmed. Another easy 5 here.

Flavors start off estery-sweet and show some citrusy component. Bannanas and orange peel. Lemon zest. Middle sees some crispness creep in. Finishes dry, with a hint of honey-soaked ABV to let you know it ain't a pushover. Almost a numbing of the palate from the hops. Oily residue on my lips and window-shaking burps add to the experience.

Mouthfeel is every so slightly on the thin side. If this had a little more "oomph" it'd be off the charts. Still, the thick and creamy lace do a nice cloaking job on the palate.

This beer is just stupidly drinkable. Never mind the big-assed bottle. I had no problems draining this one. Such a great combination of flavors and aromas. I must get several more of these when I venture west to Ohio next time. This is one damn fine beer.

This one pours a perfect cloudy golden color that has a richness of whitening from within the golden color. The head is thick and white and settles slowly leaving great lacing down the glass.

The nose is Rich malt with spice, citrus, apples, camphor, pine, grass and bread all in the mix. The nose is exquisite.

The taste is sharp and crisp with a nice effervescent experience that coats the palate is bliss. There are notes of fruit and malt subdued by crisp spiced hops that have a pleasant bitter bite and a nice clean finish with hints of apples, citrus, lemon, pine, grass, earthy notes and bready undertones with a nice alcohol warmth to it.

The mouthful is elegant and just right.

Overall a fabulous beer and one to be savored and enjoined. Extremely drinkable and wonderfully complex. I highly recommend this as one you absolutely must try.

Excellent beer served draft in a tulip glass. Perfect lines after every sip. Nice frothy head on the beer. Appearance has golden wheat tint to it. Sweet floral hoppiness come at you. A little hint of honey in their as well. Smooth sweetness with a sight bitterness that is perfectly paired. Very smooth going down. Genuinely a delicious beer. Seasoned tripel and ipa drinkers will enjoy as well as a newbie.

22oz bomber poured into a tulip glass.

A: Bubbly and strong head that maintains creaminess. Tiny bubbles rising from the bottom and bouncing around in the head. Hazy orange color.

S: Lemon zest, apple cider, slight spice or tobacco, and grass on the nose.

T: Lemon and orange citrus upfront. Sweetness from malt follows. Some pepper, and a earth and grass finish.

M: Manages to finish dry and have a creamy feel at the same time. Great boozy warmth on the back of the throat. You can tell it is heavily hopped from the bitterness, but blends great with the malt sweetness.

O: This one has it all. Bitter and sweet. Creamy and dry. Crisp and yet boozy. Awesome example of a diverse Belgian beer that displays hoppy American IPA flavors and the spicy, carbonated, dry characteristics of saison / farmhouse ales.
