look: 4.5 | smell: 4 | taste: 4.5 | feel: 5 | overall: 4.5

Served on tap into a tulip.

A: Pitch black with no color making its way through. One inch of khaki head dissipated slowly to leave khaki-brown lacing on the glass.

S: Smell was chocolate, coffe, and rasions.

T: Same as aroma here chocolate, cofee, raision, with some red fruit in there. For being listed as 13% ABV the alcohol was hidden very well for such a relatively young imperial stout.

M: Full bodied, was slightly chewy in a great way.

O: A wonderful russian imperial stout. The beer menu had it listed at 13% ABV and there was no sign of alcohol burn. This beer is less than 4 months old i believed and it was a very well balanced stout already showing the sherry-like fruit notes one would expect from an aged stout. Perfect balance of coffe roast with chocolate and dark fruit notes. Hope they can brew this again soon! (834 characters)
