Dark cola brown with a fat finger of soupy tan head. Solid lacing
Distinctive roasted malts aroma with hints of chocolate, breakfast-roast coffee, peanut skins, vanilla, nougat, strong leather and used bookstore mustiness.
Pretty similar tasting. Dark roasted malts, chocolate, slightly-nutty coffee and bourbon with vanilla and nougat. Just a little of the leather from the nose. A kiss of alcohol and slightly bitter in the finish.
Medium bodied and slick with strong carbonation.
Really nice depth in this one before you even get to the bourbon.

Pours dark brown/black with a decent head. Not much lacing.
Nose is really strong coffee and bourbon.
Taste is intense coffee with alcohol also present. Some burnt toast, maybe some dark fruits. Not much sweetness. Slight hop bitterness on the backend.
Mouthfeel is good. Not a milkshake but good viscosity and moderate carbonation that fits the style.
Overall, not my favorite because of the overpowering coffee taste with little additional complexity. But, still very pleasant to drink and the coffee and bourbon tones are very enjoyable. Might not buy again but I wouldn’t turn it down either.

Having this one on tap. Its a beautiful black drink with a delicoys coffee scent. Flavor is all sweet coffee cacao and bourbon. I love this beer. I've had kbs, big bad baptist and numerous other BBA stouts and porters. I think this may be my favorite. No off flavors, very little or no dark fruit flavors (not the biggest fan of fruit in a stout) for a traditional coffee stout fan, this hits my sweet spot. I think I'll have another.
Edit: I tried this out of the bottle. Still decent, but not as good as on tap. The flavor is much less coffee and much more dark fruit and bourbon. Maybe I didn't have it as fresh as on tap, but it brings my rating down on the beer a little.
