Nice classic dark amber color. Not much head but good carbonation. Mouthfeel is creamy and full. Taste is heavy malts and a little caramel flavor. To me, it doesn't go into the piney territory some ambers do, but stays firmly in the malts. You can taste the chamomile, and there's a citrus backdrop. They call it a "dark shandy" but it's not quite that citrusy to me. The accent notes are there but they aren't in your face. All in all, another interesting and enjoyable offering from 5 Stones.
