750ml bottle. Smells like sweet pineapple with a hint of pepper. Kinda reminds me of the yellow salsa from Taco Cabana. There is much more of the jalapeno pepper in the flavor and it slowly builds upon itself. I still think the pepper plays a supporting role to the pineapple and that works for me. It’s funny they got the inspiration for this beer from a Hawaiian pizza, because it kinda reminded me of cheese sauce nachos (w/ jalapenos and pineapple soda).

Like drinking pineapple juice with a clean and crisp jalapeño finish, but without the jalapeño spice to mask the flavor of beer. The flavor of both the pineapple and jalapeño are fresh, crisp, and pronounced nicely.

Cloudy orange gold pour with a foamy one-finger off-white head. Aroma has a mild chile scent with a hint of tropical fruit. Taste has citrus and a dry pineapple flavor upfront backed by a jalapeño flavor with heat that builds slowly but nicely as the beer warms. The jalapeño flavor is nice because you can really taste the flavor of the pepper and not just the heat.

Hawaiian pizza inspired this brew. The ales aroma is definitely reminiscent of those toppings as the sweet, citrusy pineapple smell hits your nose. Upon tasting it, the citrus flavor is surprisingly light as the jalapeños help calm the pineapple down. A delicious mix of flavors & great session brew to grill out with.

Appearance: Straw yellow glass with a white low lying head that lasts.

Smell: A slight vegetable something is a bit odd, but the light fruitiness and sweet base invite a sip.

Taste: The pepper heat is at about a 6 or 7 out of 10. It's warm, and builds as you go deeper into the glass. The pineapple is a really great touch, one I'm surprised I haven't really seen before. The spicy juicy sweet combo keeps it interesting.

Mouthfeel, Medium light body, medium carb

Overall: The best pineapple pepper beer I've ever had! Flavor is interesting, but the heat makes it a good one to share with friends, not try the whole thing alone.

Cheers to my first 5 Stones, I'll be looking for another!
