Attractive place in downtown San Jose. Big space with two walls covered with televisions. Big four-sided bar fills the center of the space. Mezzanine with some nice windows and pleasant seating.
Lots of taps, and plenty of good beers if you're just looking for a brew. The focus is on an electic selection rather than interest. I guess you could say there is something to please everyone, from macro light to Belgian. Three beers from Drake, notably Aroma Coma, but otherwise nothing is local. The commonest beers from Stone, Deschutes, Sierra Nevada, Lagunitas, and Lost Coast. Quite a few industrial products. But then there is also Chimay, Sculpin, and Allagash Curieux.
Happy hour specials on food and drink. Food includes the usual fried stuff but also some fancy salads, one of which was quite good. Decent place for lunch but it's probably the place to meet up after work. Bartender was eager to please on a quiet afternoon.
