An irregular head faded quickly and loudly on a very hazy pale golden color body. Aromas of wheat combined with notes of peaches and fementing apples. Some syrupy caramel in the smell too, together with gingerbread (it took me some time to identify the gingerbreadÂ…)
The taste is basically a repetition of the smell. A fresh wheaty character, enriched by notes of caramelized apples and pears together with a lemony carbonation and some bready notes of yeast . Here again, gingerbread. Alcohol gets noticeable, a little bit like in vin nouveau (thanks to my mom for that one). Mouthfeel is round, with an excessively aggressive carbonation and a dry and chewy finish. A little bit heavy for the style.
