A very nice selection here that includes many Michigan locals, a good bit of Colorado stuff, and even a bunch of Belgian and trappist beers (Rochefort). Usually have some Jolly Pumpkin. A bit pricey on some stuff but pretty standard overall. Not a huge fan of their premade food stuff. Very nice for a grocery store, though.

Fair prices and great selection of Michigan brews. They do waiting lists for all of the limited releases, so don't expect to walk in on KBS day and luck into a 4 pack. I got on the reserve lists for KBS, CBS, Blushing Monk, and The Oracle and got calls on the day they received letting me know my beer had arrived. Overall, a great place and the beer is well organized....they keep the seasonals and limited releases separate from the regular year rounds. For anyone in the Ann Arbor area, you should make this one of your go to places.

This is right down the street from the hotel I have been staying in in consecutive years for the summer beer fest. I stop in mostly due to proximity and convenience.

A bigger than what Im used to sized Whole Foods. The good thing is that they are all layed out similarly so I can pop in, find the beer and pop out quite quickly.

Back there is a long cooler for 6 packs. All the typical Short's, Arbor and other nice MI stuff is right here. Just past that is where all the singles are. Jolly Pumpkin at the end, then Belgians that seem over priced, then a few singles and bombers and stuff. I was able to get a 6 pack of Huma-lump-licious and an 09 BCBS.

Ill probably continue to see what they have in here just for pure convenience from my hotel.

First of all, nobody here knows anything about beer, which doesn't bother me as I know what I am looking for. Some beers they have suffer from poor rotation and are a bit dated, though most of their selection (including some singles) are refrigerated. The only thing here that popped out was the selection of Jolly Pumpkin beers, they still had many of Jolly Pumpkin's past seasonals available which I haven't seen anywhere else (such as La Parcela and others). Locals are very well represented for a grocery store (Founders, New Holland, Arcadia, Short's, JP, Arbor, Bell's, etc). They have a selection of singles, though small compared to Plum Market or even Hiller's.

They also have a nice selection of Schneider singles, which include their Eisenbock, which I have yet to seen anywhere else in Michigan. They have reasonable prices on Hitachino and Allagash singles, though it appears both have suffered from poor rotation.

Overall the prices here are average, maybe even a bit high.
Stop in if you are stuck in Ann Arbor and find it a pain to make it to better beer stores like Plum Market.

Well first of all let me say that I love Whole Foods as a supermarket, I only wish that I could afford to shop there all the time.

Beer selection is actually pretty good, considering that this is a mainstream supermarket and not a beer-and-wine specialty market. It is no Bello Vino (may she R.I.P.) but I still can find some very good beers that I haven't tried when I go there. Particularly satisfying is the near-total absence of adjunct-macros; Bud and others have very limited shelf space and are definitely not front and center.

Pricey, but to me it's more of a reflection of the selection that they carry. Basically on par with near-by stores in Ann Arbor.
