This use to be my go to liquor store in Temecula before I found greener pastures. The owner told me that he stopped ordering Russian River because they never told him how much/when he was gonna get it...well my favorite beer is Pliny and if I don't even have a chance of getting any I'll probably just go to where they will have it.

It is a good place though. I'll still stop in if I'm in that part of town and want something common.

I stopped in here recently driving between breweries in the Temecula area. It's a fairly standard no frills liquor store that has a small section for craft beer. To be honest there wasn't that much available with more space devoted to macro stuff. There was nothing out of the ordinary and it looks like a lot of the stock is old, especially cases of Unibroue 750s that were marked at $6 or so. Some of the stuff was in coolers, and others were on the shelf warm. I see the last review for this place was back in 2011 and it seems like this place has gone downhill based on the descriptions from before versus what I saw. I wouldn't stop back in here most likely.

Thanks for the recommendations from fellow BAs. Was very happy I made the choice to stop in there today.

Was in Temecula for my wife's bday. My in-laws live there, so this might be a recurring stop when in town.

Not the biggest selection I've ever seen but what they have is fantastic. I was looking to pick up a few bottles of stuff from the San Diego region that you can't really find in the Valley. Although I didn't find anything I was actually looking for like Alpine stuff, I picked up a few other bottles I had been highly interested in. After having Lukcy Basardt when first released, and absolutely Loving it, I was worried I'd never get another chance to have it. But Old Town had about 6 left of their last case (they told me). Picked up a few other bottles from Kern River I had been looking for and got a Stone RIS and Deschuttes: Hop in the Dark.

They have a very good quality selection overall and the prices are either right on, or maybe 50 cents to a dollar more than you could maybe find them.

My favorite beer store in Temecula. Small liquor store with an awesome beer selection. A little divey with bars on the windows, but never judge a book by its cover. They always get the latest Southern California specialty releases fast. They have a great selection of Belgians and American Micro brews. They get sours on occasion, when they are available. The owner Rick is very cool and is always looking for new stuff to carry. If he doesn't have it and you want it, he will do his best to get it.

Stopped in after the Younger event @ Barley and Hops

Atm- Very basic liquor store feel. Lots of coolers and aisles of some food and such.

Quality- Lots of Belgians and CA regional items. Was able to score some Sea Monster. I was VERY happy.

Service- The owner was very helpful and a great guy to talk to.

Selection- Didn't have a ton of bottles in the cooler but what they did have was worth it.

Food- N/A

Value- Well worth the visit if you are in the area. Wasn't overly expensive and got some great bottles at a great price.

I've been living in Hemet for some 8 years now and I used to go to this place a fair amount when I first moved out there. Back then they had a good selection but I don't remember it being as good as it is today. Over the past year I have been going there every couple weeks or so on the way home from work in S.D. Not only is it more convenient then going across town (once finally home) in Hemet to Mega Liquor (which has a HUGE selection), but the staff (all two of 'em) at Old Town is extremely friendly, knowledgable, and enthusiastic about thier beer and beer in general.

Always fresh beer. Decent price, especially for a smaller store and in a well-off community such as Temecula.

Very good selection for the space they are allowed. They have many of the top (in my book) west coast microbrews and a nice selection of Belgian ales. Good IPA's. (They usually seem to have at least one decent tequila on sale there when I'm in the hunt for a good bottle.)

I'm not sure how long this place has been here, but I hope they stay for many years to come. Check it out if you travel the I-15 through Temecula or if you live near there. Great place!

This place rocks! Owner Rick is more than helpful. He always has a great selection of craft brews, as well as Belgians. I can consistently find brews from RR, Stone, Alesmith, Lagunitas, Bear Republic, firestone, and many others. I recently scored a bottle of Utopias here on my way home from work! If Rick doesn't have what you are looking for, he will go out of his way to find it for you. And his prices are always better than the local BevMo. If you love great beer, and are in the Temecula area, his store is a must visit! Highly reccommended!

The selection and value at Old Town is outstanding. His prices on kegs and craft brews are always lower than BevMo. His selection is great and is usually able to get some hard to find brews (especially in Temecula). Rick, the owner, is very friendly and knows his beers. He loves Belgians, which is evident by his impressive selection from Delirium to Golden Draak. Last time I was in the store (today) he had Mirror Mirror, Port's 3rd, a great selection from Stone (BTW he keeps cases and selectively releases them in the fridge ie 06 Double Bastard), Lost Abbey, Coronado, Ballast Point, Dogfish, Avery, Alesmith, Fullsail, Russian River, etc. If he doesn't have what you want, he can usually get it. If you are in the Temecula area, definitely stop by and check it out. If you live in the Temecula are and shop at BevMo, check his selection and prices out...you won't be disappointed.

Old Town Liqour is a must stop if you are into the craft brew scene. My folks live in the area and I stop in a buy at least one bottle every time I am down from the Sacramento area.

Last time I bought some Stone Epic, time before Firestone Walker XII. This time I was suprised to see Consecration from RR for less than at the Brewery.

Management is really cool. Always willing to sit a chat for a while. Tell him you saw it on B.A.

I'm sure the selection of "other" stuff is good too, I just never make it past the coolers on the left of the store. I mean come on, Lost Abbey, Stone, Port Brewing, Russian River, North Coast....Etc. Why go anywhere else. What a great place to stop a grab a bottle for dinner or friends.

Living in Corona and working at Camp Pendleton I drive right by this place almost every day and I didn't even know it existed until about a week ago. Located on the south end of Temecula's Old Town the outside looks like your average liquor store. The inside is pretty cramped but you're greeted by reefers full of great craft brew choices. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw Blind Pig and Pliny sitting in one. The beer selection is focused on craft brew. While not being huge it holds its own. I was finding stuff here that isn't available at BevMo or other liquor stores. Some notables were Russian River, Pizza Port, Avery, Dogfish, and Lost Abbey. The manager is a super nice guy and pretty knowledgeable. Prices here are competitive as well. I guarantee I'll be stopping here two or three times a week on my way home from work.
