Color was cloudy golden orangeish yellow, smelled kinda like lemons but tasted very sour, slightly sweet. Bitter aftertaste

Had on draft. Arrived cloudy golden orangeish yellow with a thin layer of white head that had all but disappeared. Aromas of lemon and malty breadness. Taste is a little sour but balanced by sweetness. I'm not a huge fan of this style but it is one of the best berliner weiss beers I have ever had. Little bitter and sour on the aftertaste. Easy drinking. Excellent effort.

Appearance: Arrives with a cloudy amber color capped by a thin head; not much lacing gets delivered

Smell: Lactic lemon, with a strong pithy aspect

Taste: The lemon and lactic sourness blend with a hint of bread; tart finish with just a bit of residual sweetness to balance things out

Mouthfeel: Light to medium body with moderate carbonation

Overall: This brewery has nailed the Berliner Weiss style; terrific job

Pretty good for a mild sour.

Had it on draft at Capital Ale House and at the brewery (Strangeways). Also tasted it side by side with Professor Fritz 1809. This is exactly what you would want and expect in this style. Lightly cloudy with a slight citrusy scent. There is a tinge of acidity and sourness that is not overpowering. Far from sour, it would be best described as freshly tart.
Probably would be a good introductory or gateway sour beer but as a Berliner Weisse, it exceeds your expectations!
